To unlock the marble lock, you can first use a torque wrench (Tension Wrench) to apply rotational torque to the lock core, and then use a pin-shaped lock pick (Lock Pick) to push the lock spring or marble up one by one until all the points Aligned. Usually the marbles in the lock cylinder are not completely aligned. Under torque, only one of them is the most stressed against the lock cylinder. When the marble is pushed to the proper height, the lock cylinder will rotate a little bit until it is pinned by another marble. When the heights of all the marbles are aligned, the torque wrench can unlock the lock. Sometimes the locksmith will use the unlocker to quickly and vigorously pull out the lock inside the lock and push the marbles upwards; in this way, some of the marbles may be automatically pushed to a suitable height to reduce the unlocking time.

Some simple padlocks only have two to three marbles, and the lock cylinder can be opened by only 1/8 turn. Experienced locksmiths can open without a torque wrench and unlocker with a safety pin. However, some well-designed ball locks have various special devices inside, making it difficult for the unlocker to push the ball to the correct height.

Another way to quickly open a bullet lock is to use a vibratory lock gun or “bump keys” to push the bullet. The principle of the two tools is the same: insert the tool under the lower marble, and quickly bump up at the same time. At this time, the lower marble will hit the marble, and the upper marble will be thrown up in a very short time. Separate to open the marble lock. This method can open a large number of marble locks without technical training. It has attracted attention in Europe, the United States, Hong Kong and other places. In order to prevent this unlocking method, some locks have another lock in the lock core. The appropriate pit is pushed away to rotate.
